Alien Worlds (TLM), officially named “Trilium” but colloquially referred to as “Alien Worlds”, is the native token and in-game currency of Alien Worlds, a blockchain-based play-to-earn (P2E) game that rewards players with NFTs and token rewards.
The Alien Worlds protocol is built on BNB Chain, Ethereum, and the WAX blockchain. Its metaverse features seven “Planet Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs)”, each governed by players who stake TLM to the planet of their choice.
What is Alien Worlds (TLM)?
TLM tokens are cross-chain compatible assets that Alien Worlds players can use to purchase and upgrade NFTs within Alien Worlds, or spend TLM to enter in-game missions, competitions, and events. Players can earn TLM in exchange for playing Alien Worlds, participating in competitions and events, completing missions, and more.
As a governance token, players can stake TLM to vote on key governance decisions regarding their chosen Planet’s DAO.
What is the Alien Worlds game about?
Alien Worlds is a blockchain-based game set in a space-themed universe where players, referred to as “Explorers”, search for rare NFTs and TLM tokens through in-game mining, fighting, and missions.
Successful Explorers can own “land” across the seven in-game planets. Other explorers can mine TLM on parcels of land, while landowners can passively earn TLM by receiving a percentage of the total TLM that is rewarded from mining. In addition, they receive a variable percentage of the TLM mined on land that hasn’t been claimed by landowners.
